Embarking on Project Arboreal, our aim was to delve into the latest techniques offered by Unreal Engine 5. Leveraging Lumen technology, we illuminated and sculpted the scene, while SpeedTree played a pivotal role in seamlessly generating lush vegetation. The collaborative efforts of our dedicated team ensured the project's completion with high-end results.

Terrain development incorporated the innovative use of Runtime Virtual Textures, facilitating a harmonious blend with surrounding meshes. This venture aspired to construct a captivating stylized scene, pushing the boundaries of visual excellence by embracing the cutting-edge features Unreal Engine 5 has to offer. Project Voyager stands as a testament to our commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, exploring and harnessing the newest advancements to create immersive and visually stunning environments.

For this project I worked on the environment blockout, layout of the scene, multitude of foliage, hard surface and organic modeling, lighting, performance optimization and dynamic day/night cycle implementation.
